Before installing a differential assembly (1) with sealed differential, 0.5 l of oil must be filled into the differential, as otherwise the toothed gears of the differential will not be lubricated and the differential assembly (1) will be destroyed.
1 Clamp-in the differential assembly (1).
The bores for the input shafts must be in a horizontal position. When clamping, do not damage the ring gear's toothing (2).
2 Pour in a minimum of 0.5 l of oil at the bore for the axle shaft on the differential side (arrow)
To ensure that oil reaches the differential gears, when filling, the oil can or the oil hose must be inserted up to the differential gear bolt.
