Remove

Remove rear axle shaft (17)

 Pull out transfer coupling (18) and rear halfshaft (17).

 

Disassemble/assemble

Clamp rear axle shaft (17) before disassembling

Use a suitable tool to extract the hub cover (22)

 Assembly: Insert new hub cap (22) using Loctite 573 sealant.

Use a suitable tool to press together the securing spring (23) and slide back the transfer coupling (18)

Detach retaining spring (23)

Pull off the transfer coupling (18)

Use a suitable tool to remove the Nilos ring (24) from the transfer coupling (18)

8

Assemble in the reverse order



Install

9

Install rear axle shaft (17).

AR35.30-P-0620GL

 Replace O-ring (16).
