Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary.
Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection).
Wear protective gloves.

Lift/jack up vehicle

Secure vehicle on lifting platform

Unscrew bolts (8) from rear axle shaft (9)



Unscrew nut (10) from rear axle shaft (9)



Lower the vehicle until almost the normal jounce condition is reached

 The rear axle shaft (9) can be removed more easily when the rear axle is in the jounce condition

Remove rear axle shaft (9)

Install in the reverse order
