	Remove
1	Remove brake carrier with brake caliper		AR42.10-W-0600B
2	Remove ABS sensor		AR42.30-W-0150A
3	Remove rear axle shaft (4)
4	Unscrew slotted nut (3) and extract shim (2)
	Slotted nut and thread of axle tube modified		BT35.20-W-0012-01A
		 A slotted nut (3) with left-hand thread or right-hand thread can be installed on the left-hand wheel hub. Therefore always observe the release direction for the installed slotted nut (3). Otherwise the thread on the axle tube will be damaged and then the complete axle housing will have to be replaced.

6	Remove rear axle hub (1)
7	Remove O-ring (6) from axle tube
8	Detach brake disk from rear wheel hub (1)	 Only when replacing the rear wheel hub (1) or brake disk.
	Install
9	Mount brake disk with new bolts to rear wheel hub (1)	 Only if the brake disk has been removed.

		Multi-purpose paste	*BR00.45-Z-1009-06A
10	Coat O-ring (6) with multi-purpose paste and assemble on the axle tube until it abuts	 Always install a new O-ring (6) even if the rear wheel hub (1) was installed without O-ring (6).

11	Coat contact surface of rear wheel hub (1) on the axle tube with multi-purpose paste	Multi-purpose paste	*BR00.45-Z-1009-06A
12	Push rear wheel hub (1) over assembly sleeve onto axle tube
13	Unscrew assembly sleeve from axle tube
14	Oil the thrust plate (2) and thread on the axle tube and mount the thrust plate (2) on the axle tube	 The larger chamfer on the thrust plate (2) must point outwards.
15	Screw on new slotted nut (3) by hand until it abuts with the thrust plate (2)
16	Tighten slotted nut (3)	Tighten slotted nut with left-hand thread in 2 stages.	AR35.20-W-0310-12A

17	Secure slotted nut (3) by driving collar into groove (arrow)
18	Clean sealing surfaces on rear wheel hub (1) and rear axle shaft (4) and coat with sealing compound	Sealant, Omnifit FD 3041	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
19	Install rear axle shaft (4)	 Use new bolts (5).
		 Bolt, rear axle shaft to wheel hub	*BA35.30-N-1001-01B
20	Install ABS sensor		AR42.30-W-0150A
21	Install brake carrier with brake caliper		AR42.10-W-0600B
