1 Attach retainer  (5) and reducer  (4) to rear axle shaft.

2 Position dial indicator holder  (1) with dial indicator  (2) and extension  (3) on sealing surface of bell hub.

3 Position probe of dial indicator on thrust washer, setting the dial indicator with preload and setting the scale on the dial indicator to '0'.

Check

4 Measure axial play of rear axle shaft.

 By pulling and pushing firmly on the retainer on the rear axle shaft.

Adjust

5 Adjust axial play with the aid of shims in the thicknesses 0.1/ 0.2/ 0.5/ 1.0/ 1.5 mm.
