Remove/install

Remove rear wheel

Detach underfloor paneling in area of tie rod (1)

Mark installation position of eccentric disk (2)

 The toe-in is adjusted at the factory with the eccentric disk (2).

Remove tie rod (1) from rear axle carrier (3)

 Installation: Observe the marking on the eccentric disk (2).

 Self-locking nut, tie rod to rear axle carrier

Detach tie rod (1) from wheel carrier (4) and remove

 Bolt, tie rod to wheel carrier

Check

6

Check tie rod (1) for condition and signs of damage

If a problem arises



Replace tie rod (1).

Install in the reverse order

Perform wheel alignment check
