Disassemble/assemble rear wheel hub

1	Oil baffle
2	Retainer
3	Inner roller bearing
4	Lock-ring
5	Wheel hub
6	Outer roller bearing

	Disassemble
1	Remove oil collector plate (1)	 To remove the oil pan plate (1), use a drift to tap through the two holes of the wheel hub (5).
2	Remove inner bearing (3) of the wheel hub (5) together with seal (2)	 Puller	*000589163300
3	Remove the outer race of the inner bearing (3) from wheel hub (5)	 Puller	*000589163300
4	Remove fastening lock ring (4) from outer bearing (6)
5	Remove the outer race of outer bearing (6)	 For rear axle 743.4, use a suitable assembly pin.
		 Puller	*000589163300
	Check
6	Clean up and inspect the parts	 Replace worn or damaged parts.
7	Check the wear on the inner race friction surface	.	AR35.20-B-0310-05A
		 Drift	*304589043900
		In the case of wearing
		
		Replace.
	Assemble
8	Install, from outside the wheel hub (5), the outer and inner races of outer bearing (6)	 Lubricate the inner race with grease.
		Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0	*BR00.45-Z-1107-06A
9	Install lock ring (4) of outer bearing (6)
10	Install, from inside hub (5), the outer race of inner bearing (3)	 Drift punch	*314589011500
11	Assemble the inside race of the inner bearing (3)	 Lubricate with grease.
		Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0	*BR00.45-Z-1107-06A
12	Install a new ring seal (2)	 Apply sealant to the outer surface.

13	Assemble the oil baffle (1)	 Apply a sealant product.
