1 Unlock outer slotted nut (1) and unscrew with claw-type wrench.
2 Remove locking plate (2).
3 Loosen inner slotted nut (3) and retighten with specified tightening torque .
In the process turn the rear wheel hub (5) continuously and apply some blows to the rear wheel hub (5) in a criss-cross pattern with a plastic or rubber hammer.
4 Loosen the inner slotted nut (3) by the specified tightening angle.
5 Insert new locking plate (2).
6 Tighten outer slotted nut (1) using claw-type wrench .
Do not yet secure outer slotted nut (1) and inner slotted nut (3).
7 Relieve the load on the tapered roller bearing of the rear wheel hub (5) by light blows using a plastic mallet.
