The installation depth of the threaded ring determines the axial play of the through-drive shaft. It therefore has to be ensured that the threaded ring is tightened to the corresponding tightening torque depending on the special tool used.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The higher tightening torque must be used when tightening with a puller directly at the threaded ring.
If the claw wrench is used the ring must be tightened with the lower tightening torque. The higher tightening torque is achieved at the threaded ring due to the lever effect of the claw wrench.

Adjust
1 Tighten threaded ring .
2 Strike threaded ring and input shaft several times using a rubber hammer or, with through-drive installed, raise 1st front axle at one side and turn raised wheel fully several times in both directions so that input bearing can settle.
3 Tighten the threaded ring again .
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the threaded ring does not continue turning anymore when tightening with the specified tightening torque.
5 Loosen the threaded ring by the specified °.
Each web and each groove on the threaded ring correspond to a of 10°.
