Remove/install left drive flange

Remove/Install

Detach drive shaft (2) from left drive
flange (1)

 Tie back drive shaft (2).

Unscrew nuts on left and right struts of anti-roll bar

 Turn up anti-roll bar.

 Installation: Replace self-locking nut.



Drive out left drive flange (1)

 Installation: Replace circlip (3). Drive in until the circlip (3) on the drive flange (1) latches in the transmission.

 Collect oil which can flow out of the transmission, in a suitable vessel.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check oil level in transmission and refill if necessary

 without code G40 (manual transmission)
