	Remove
1	Remove front axle differential (1).		AR33.30-P-0525MSA
		 Maintain cleanliness at all times when working on the front axle differential (1). If not observed, even minute dirt particles can prevent the front axle transmission (1) from functioning correctly.
 	Disassemble/assemble
2	Remove bolts (2s).	 Collar bolt, retaining plate to front axle differential	*BA33.30-P-1004-03G
3	Pull pinion housing (2) with retaining plate (2f) out of front axle differential (1).		AR33.30-P-0469-01SYZ
		 Assembly: Ton ensure the oil flows in the pinion housing (2) the milled section (f) must face upwards.

4	Remove shim (2a) and sealing ring (2d).	 Assembly: Replace sealing ring (2d).
5	Pull out radial shaft sealing ring (1r).
	Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)		BB00.40-P-0235-07A
		 Do not damage the seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (1r). Otherwise, the front axle differential (1) will be leaky.
		 Connect  internal extractor and  slide hammer puller to threaded rod of  extraction tool.
		 Assembly: Replace radial shaft sealing ring (1r). Coat sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (1r) with universal hypoid gear oil and drive radial shaft sealing ring (1r) into front axle differential (1) using drift VAG 175  or drift VAG 160  .

6	Pull out radial shaft sealing ring (3r).
	Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)		BB00.40-P-0235-07A
		 Do not damage the seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (3r). Otherwise, the front axle differential (1) will be leaky.
		 Connect  internal extractor and  slide hammer puller to threaded rod of  extraction tool.
		 Assembly: Replace radial shaft sealing ring (3r). Coat sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (3r) with universal hypoid gear oil and drive radial shaft sealing ring (3r) into front axle differential (1) using drift VAG 175  or drift VAG 160  .

7	Remove screws (3s) and remove cap (3).	 Collar bolt, cover to front axle gear	*BA33.30-P-1001-03G
8	Remove sealing ring (3d).	 Assembly: Replace sealing ring (3d).
9	Detach collar nut (4m) from drive flange (4) using retainer wrench and remove adjusting ring (4a) from drive flange (4).	 Fasten  the retainer wrench with one bolt only on to the drive flange (4).
		 Assembly: Replace collar nut (4m). The adjusting ring (4a) determines the bearing preload of the drive pinion.

10	Mark position of drive flange (4) relative to primary shaft (5).
11	Pull off drive flange (4).	 Puller	*203589023300
12	Pry radial shaft sealing ring (2r) out of front axle differential (1) using a suitable tool.
	Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)		BB00.40-P-0235-07A
		 Do not damage the seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (2r). Otherwise, the front axle differential (1) will be leaky.
		 Assembly: Replace radial shaft sealing ring (2r). Coat sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (2r) with universal hypoid gear oil and pound in radial shaft sealing ring (2r) into front axle transmission (1) using  drift.

13	Assemble in the reverse order.
	Install
14	Install front axle differential (1).		AR33.30-P-0525MSA
		 Maintain cleanliness at all times when working on the front axle differential (1). Even minute dirt particles can prevent the front axle transmission (1) from functioning correctly.
