| Attach torque meter to flange (9).
|

| Turn bevel gear using tool kit and read off friction torque while doing so.
|

| Tighten nut (8) further until the correct friction torque is reached.
|
|
| Never turn back the nut (8) to adjust the friction torque. If the nut (8) is tightened too firmly, a new compression ring must be installed.
