The axle beam end and kingbolt must be completely free from grease as, when using the axle beam end heater, any grease present resinifies and can damage the surfaces of the axle beam end and kingbolt.
1 Center steering knuckle (2) on axle beam end using guide drift (1).

2 Heat axle beam end (3) to approx. 150 °C using axle beam end heater (150).
3 Install kingpin without grease.
