Pry off supporting joint
1 Place and tighten the stub axle with wheel hub in a vice (use protective jaw plates).
2 Remove cable holder from stub axle (arrow).

3 Press the support joint (7) from the stub axle with the puller (044), the press (044e), and the thrust washer (044c).

Attach supporting joint
4 Clean supporting joint (7) and mounting bore in steering knuckle.
5 Press in the supporting joint (7) with the press (44e) and the thrust washer (044d), continuing until it seats in the stub axle
