Pushing off
1 Remove nut (7a).
2 Pry supporting joint (7) out of steering knuckle (5) using puller (042) and press (044).
When doing so, hold the puller (042) and press (044) securely, otherwise the special tool will fall to the ground if the supporting joint (7) detaches suddenly.
Attaching
3 Clean cone on steering knuckle (5) and supporting joint (7).
The conical joint must be free of oil and grease.
4 Join supporting joint (7) and steering knuckle (5).
The guide pin (7s) must locate in the hole in the steering knuckle (5).
5 Replace self-locking nut (7a) and tighten .
