Remove

Connect Star Diagnosis

Save the control module parameters of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

Only if replacing the control module of vehicle control (FR)

Remove the bottom compartment cover at passenger side

Loosen the bolts (1) and tilt the control module's support (2) upwards

Loosen the control module electrical connection (3) of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

Remove the control module of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

 To do so, press the control module of vehicle control (FR) (A3) on the rear fastening and unhook it up from the front fastening.



Install

Install the control module of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

Connect the electrical connection (3) to the control module of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

Turn the support of the control module (2) downward and install the screws (1)

Install the bottom compartment cover at passenger side

Transfer the parameters and reprogram the control module of vehicle control (FR) (A3)

Only when replacing the control module of vehicle control (FR)

Carry out a fault memory's reading and clear with STAR DIAGNOSIS

Turn off ignition

Remove the STAR DIAGNOSIS
