P28.40-2054-01
1 Coat both shaft seals on front axle output shaft with lubricant. Install the inner shaft seal with the sealing lip inwards and the outer shaft seal with the sealing lip outwards.
The two shaft seals have the same dimensions, only their material differs.

2 Pack the space between the two sealing lips (arrow) with lubricant.

3 Coat the splines of the output shaft with anticorrosion agent.
4 Heat up flange to approx. 120 °C and install.
Before installing the flange, insert bolts for fixing the propeller shaft.
Do not heat flange above 140 °C.
Allow the flange to cool down at a distance from the shaft seal.

5 Screw in new nut and tighten after cooling down.
