Removing
1 Pull out retaining clip (2), pull selector lever handle (1) with shifter interlock (3) off selector lever splines (5) and remove guide sleeve (4).
When removing the selector lever handle (1) the shift lock (3) in the selector lever handle (1) can unhook.

Install
2 Push compression spring (6) onto guide lug (7) on shifter interlock (3) and press down firmly.
3 Slide shift lock (3) into selector lever handle (1) so that the guide lug (7) points towards the operating knob (8) and makes contact above the inner guide groove.
When installing, ensure that the guide sleeve (4) and guide lug (7) are correctly positioned. The stop ring of the guide sleeve (4) must point towards the push spring (6).
4 Hold shifter interlock (3) with selector lever handle (1) and press the operating button (8) to check that the shifter interlock (3) lifts. If there is no function, the correct position of the guide lug (7) in selector lever handle (1) must be checked and corrected if necessary.
5 Install selector lever handle (1) with shifter interlock (3) in selector lever.
Ensure that the compression spring (6) does not become detached from the guide lug (7) when pushing in the shifter interlock (3).
