1 | Unclip retainer (1) from shift rod | Only clip-type retainers with a radius may be used, as otherwise they may be pressed out whereupon the shift rods would drop down from the shift intermediate levers | |
2 | Unhook shift rod | Installation: Adjust shift rod if necessary | |
3 | Remove center console | ||
4 | Remove insulation mat | ||
5 | Detach lamp unit (2) for light strip of shift gate illumination | ||
6 | Detach electrical plug | ||
7 | Release and remove mounting console of center shifter console | Remove bolts (arrows) | |
8 | Remove center shifter console | Disassemble/assemble center shifter console if necessary | |
Installation: Check seal for correct installation position and condition, replace if necessary | |||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Check that shift mechanism functions correctly |
