1 | Remove rear center console | ||
2 | Remove front cover on center console towards the rear | Installation: The tabs on the cover must engage in the guides on the center console | |
3 | Unplug gear recognition connection (6) from floor shift (1) | Unfasten cable straps. | |
4 | Depress brake pedal and move selector lever to position "P" | ||
5 | Detach retaining clip (2) using screwdriver | Note installed position of retaining clip (2). | |
6 | Unscrew bolts (4) | | |
Installation: Adjust range selector cable (3). | |||
7 | Tilt floor shift (1) to one side and lever locking pin (5) out of range selector cable | The locking pin (5) may spring out suddenly. | |
8 | Pull range selector cable (3) out of floor shift (1) and remove floor shift (1) | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order |
