Remove tachograph

Remove glove compartment

Remove covers for air vent on center section of instrument panel

Pull insulation material over the boot (3)

Lift/jack up vehicle

Unhook selection lever Bowden pull (2) from automatic transmission (1)

Unclip boot (3) from bore in base of body and push upwards

 Installation: Check boot (3) for damage, replace if necessary.
Ensure correct seating of the boot (3).

Pull selector lever Bowden cable (2) out upwards through the hole in the body floor


Do not kink selector lever Bowden cable (2).
Otherwise the selector level Bowden cable (2) may be damaged and it will have to be replaced.
