Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove front lower engine compartment paneling

Unscrew union nuts (4, 5) of oil cooler return line and oil cooler feed line

 TRANSMISSION 722.680/682Union nut, oil line to thermostat valve

Detach oil return line (2) and oil feed line (3)

 Installation:
Replace sealing ring,
in order to avoid leaks

Remove automatic transmission thermostat

 To do this, remove screw/bolts (1) .

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check oil level in automatic transmission and correct if necessary
