1 | Remove engine vacuum duct | ||
2 | Detach double clamp (1) | Transmission 722.9 in model 207 with engine 274 | |
Bolt, clamp to oil line | |||
3 | Detach oil lines (2, 3) from oil cooler | ||

Collect escaping transmission oil in suitable vessel. | |||
Record plug | |||
4 | Remove relevant lower engine compartment paneling | ||
5 | Remove protective shield (4) | ||
6 | Detach all retaining clamps (7) from oil pan | Screw, oil cooler oil line to oil pan | |
7 | Remove bolts (5, 6) and pull oil lines (2, 3) out of transmission | | |
Installation: Replace O-rings. | |||
Collect escaping transmission oil in a suitable container and seal the connection fitting using a suitable stop plug. | |||

Record plug | |||
8 | Remove oil lines (2, 3) individually rearwards | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
10 | Fill transmission with transmission fluid | ||

Warning | Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
11 | Perform engine test run and check transmission for proper function and leaktightness. |
