Position multiplate clutches K27 and K38 onto workshop press.

 Commercially available devices/tools
Workshop press

Attach  pressure cylinder and  drifts to the  pressure tester (1).

 Place thrust device (1) onto clutch pack and apply a force of 600 N to it.

 Place parallel gauges (4) onto external plate carrier.

Position digital vernier caliper (3) onto  parallel gauges (4).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Digital vernier caliper

Move to end disk (5) with measuring rod (2) and reset digital vernier caliper (3) to value of 0 mm.

 Remove thrust device from clutch pack.

 Place parallel gauges (4) onto inner plate carrier.

Position digital vernier caliper (3) onto  parallel gauges (4) above end disk (5).

Pull end disk (5) up against snap ring, move to end disk (5) with measuring rod of digital vernier caliper (3), read off value and note down value.

Move to end disk (5) with measuring rod of digital vernier caliper (3), read off measured value and note down.

Compare actual value with specified value in set value table and adjust clearance using corresponding snap ring.
