| Press multiplate clutch K3 (44) firmly by hand in direction of arrow.

| Check end play (S) between shim (42e) and retaining ring (42f).

| Remove retaining ring (42f) with pliers.
|

| Remove shim (42e) and measure thickness.
|

| Adjust axial play (S) with shim (42e).
|
|
| Shims (42e) are available in thicknesses of 3.1 mm, 3.4 mm and 3.7 mm.
