The O-rings must not be installed for measurement of axial play.
1 Put on the support disk (11) so that the journal (arrow) in the overrunning clutch outer race engages in the bore.

2 Install shim (17)
3 Insert overrunning clutch outer race (10) with overrunning clutch inner race (9) in the connecting member.
The notched cage must not be installed for the measurement of axial play.

4 Insert thrust plate (18) into the internal plate carrier K2 (24).

5 Insert internal plate carrier K2 (24) into the connecting member (7).
6 Install snap ring (21).

7 Using a feeler gauge check the axial play between the shim (17) and connecting member (7).
The axial play must be 0.05 - 0.2 mm. The axial play is adjusted by means of shims. These are available in the following thicknesses: 0.1; 0.2; 0.3 mm.
