Remove/install

Detach transmission housing from torque converter housing (1w) or electrical machine housing (2w)

Remove Torlon rings (2a) from output shaft (24)

 Installation: Replace the Torlon rings (2a).

Remove retaining ring (2b), shim (2c), axial needle roller bearing (2d) and thrust plate (2e) from output shaft (24)

After installing the retaining ring (2b), shim (2c), axial needle roller bearing (2d) and thrust plate (2e), the axial play between the shim (2c) and retaining ring (2b) must be checked:



Check/adjust axial play between shim (2c) and retaining ring (2b)

Remove and check multidisk clutch K3 (21)

In case of damage or wear:



Disassemble/assemble K3 clutch

Remove rear hollow shaft (22) from output shaft and check

In case of damage or wear:



Disassemble/assemble rear hollow shaft

Remove output shaft (24)

Remove remaining Torlon rings (2a) from output shaft (24)

 Installation: Replace the Torlon rings (2a).

Remove retaining ring and detach rear ring gear (25)

 Installation:
Apply oil to transmission components before installation.
Otherwise damage can occur during the startup phase when the transmission is being put into service.

Install in the reverse order
