6 | Place outer plate carrier (15a) into lever-type hand gun. | Commercially available devices/tools | |
7 | Place thrust device onto disk spring (15t). | Position thrust device precisely (arrow). This enables later removal of the retaining ring (15s). | |

18 | Lay new disks at least 1 h in transmission oil. | When replacing the disks. | |
| Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) (specification 236.15) | ||
19 | Install piston (15k) in outer plate carrier (15a). | ||
20 | Install disk spring (15t). | Insert disk spring (15t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the piston (15k). | |
21 | Fit retaining ring (15s). | Installation is only possible when the lever-type hand gun is actuated. | |
22 | Place outer plate carrier (15a) into lever-type hand gun. | ||
23 | Place thrust device onto disk spring (15t). | Position thrust device precisely (arrow). This enables later installation of the retaining ring (15s). | |
