2 | Pry breather cap (1) off transmission housing using a suitable tool (arrows). | Do not destroy breather cap (1) during removal, to avoid damage or destruction to the automatic transmission through broken pieces. | |

3 | Install new breather cap (1) into transmission housing. | Breather cap (1) must lock in place. | |
