3 | Remove oil pan from automatic transmission. | ||
4 | Unscrew bolt (16a). | ||
5 | Remove detent plate spring element (16). | ||
6 | Remove detent plate clamp screw (82a). | ||
7 | Remove gearshift shaft (40). | ||
8 | Remove radial shaft sealing ring (20) using suitable tool. | | |

9 | Check gearshift shaft (40) for galling and damage. | If corresponding findings are present, | |

Replace shift shaft (40). | |||
| Install | ||
10 | Install radial shaft sealing ring (20) using drift (01) up to end stop in transmission housing (1). | | |

Correct seating of radial shaft sealing ring (20). | |||
11 | Install gearshift shaft (40). | Check for correct position of gearshift shaft (40) in detent plate (82). | |
12 | Screw in detent plate clamp screw (82a). | Clamp bolt of shift shaft to detent plate | |
13 | Mount detent plate spring element (16). | ||
14 | Screw in bolt (16a). | Screw/bolt of detent plate spring element to electrohydraulic controller unit | |
15 | Install oil pan of automatic transmission. | ||
Do not yet add gear oil. | |||
16 | Install intelligent servo module. | ||
17 | Fill automatic transmission with transmission oil. | ||
