Remove drain screw from torque converter

Fill torque converter with 1 l automatic transmission fluid



Screw in drain screw at torque converter

Insert drive shaft into torque converter

 Drive shaft

Drive torque converter

 Drive torque converter at low speed for approx. 2 minutes.

Remove drain screw from torque converter

Allow automatic transmission fluid to flow through a clean cloth.

 Repeat rinsing procedure 2 to 4 times. If there are metal shavings on the cloth after rinsing, the torque converter must be replaced.



Install

Screw in drain screw at torque converter

 Replace sealing ring.


