| Ensure absolute cleanliness, use only lint-free cloths. | Contamination within the transmission represents a potential source of damage. | |
1 | Remove electrohydraulic control unit | Connector (B91.1) can only be disconnected after removing the induction-type pulse generator (B91). | |
2 | Detach cable of connector (B91.1) from retaining clamp (2) | ||
3 | Unscrew torx bolt (1) | Ensure that the torx bolt (1) and spacer (3) do not fall into the transmission. | |
Spacer (3) is only installed with engines OM611, OM 601 D23 LA and M111 E23. | |||

4 | Remove induction-type pulse generator (B91) and disconnect connector (B91.1) | Lift clip (arrow) with screwdriver until the connector (B91.1) can be disconnected. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order |
