| Remove | ||
1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connector from automatic transmission. | ||
3 | Remove oil pan (6). | ||
4 | Remove oil filter (5). | ||
5 | Unscrew screws/bolts (9). | ||
6 | Remove electrohydraulic controller unit (1). | | |
If the electrohydraulic controller unit (1) is jammed, | |||

use suitable tool to pry off the electrohydraulic controller unit (1) on the transmission housing (3). | |||
7 | Remove O-rings (10). | Assembly tool | |
| Install | ||
8 | Install new plain coupler (4) into transmission housing (3). | ||
9 | Install new O-rings (10). | Assembly tool | |
10 | Insert electrohydraulic controller unit (1). | ||
11 | Screw in new bolts (9). | Screw/bolt, electrohydraulic controller unit to transmission housing | |
12 | Install new oil filter (5). | ||
13 | Install oil pan (6). | ||
Do not yet add any transmission oil. | |||
14 | Connect electrical connector to automatic transmission. | ||

15 | Read out fault memory. | ||

Clear existing errors. | |||
16 | Carry out transmission adaptation. | If electrohydraulic controller unit (1) was replaced or repaired. | |
