Remove/install

Disconnect battery ground line

Lift/jack up vehicle

Remove bolt (3) and pull cover (2) out of bracket (1).

Turn lock of pilot bushing (4) up to end stop in counterclockwise direction and detach electrical connector (5)

Remove bolt (6)

Pull pilot bushing (4) out of transmission housing

Catch oil running out.

 Installation: Replace pilot bushing (4).

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.

Check oil level in automatic transmission and correct if necessary.
