 Mount support fixture (2) to assembly stand (3) and screw in screws (4).

 Mount lifting device (9) at transmission housing.

 Make sure that the   lifting device (9) is seated correctly in the cutouts of the transmission housing (arrow); check this by rattling the   lifting device (9).
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Attach lifting device (9) to engine hoist.

Workshop crane

Remove major assembly mount and mounting plate from automatic transmission.

Place automatic transmission on  support fixture (2) such that the bores of the torque converter housing and  support fixture (2) line up with each other.

Screw in screws (12).

 Remove lifting device (9) from automatic transmission.
