Disconnect/connect transmission oil line

 Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Clean separating point and surrounding area thoroughly.

Release dust cap (3) and push back on transmission oil line (1) until the connector (2) is accessible.

Detach safety clip (2a) from connector (2).

Remove transmission oil line (1) from connector (2) and seal connections with suitable  stop plugs.

 Collect escaping automatic transmission fluid.

Insert one end of new safety clip (2a) into the cutout (2b) of the connector (2).

Push securing clamp (2a) in direction of arrow until it fully engages in connector (2).

Remove  stop plugs.

Introduce transmission oil line (1) straight into the connector (2) until it audibly and noticeable latches.

Push dust cap (3) onto the connector (2) until it latches and can turn freely.

 If the transmission oil line (1) does not completely engage in the connector (2) or the safety clip (2a) is overstretched, the dust cap (3) will not slide over the connection.
This will result in leaks or soiling.

If the transmission oil line (1) does not correctly engage or the safety clip (2a) is overstretched.



Replace safety clip (2a) and engage transmission oil line (1) correctly.
