Remove/install oil filler pipe

 Warning

Risk of burn injuries, suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove screws (62, 63, 64)  .

Remove wiring harness from filler pipe (61).

Transmission 722.611
Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (51) from exhaust manifold.

Transmission 722.6 with engine 112, 113 (except 113.993)
Remove exhaust cross line.

Use a suitable tool to pry filler pipe (61) out of housing bore of transmission housing and remove.

 Installation: Replace O-ring on filler pipe (61).

Install in the reverse order.
