| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove automatic transmission. | ||
2 | Remove transmission housing from torque converter housing (4). | ||
3 | Remove output unit. | ||
The output unit consists of the multiplate clutch K3, rear hollow shaft, rear planet carrier, output shaft and rear ring gear. | |||
4 | Remove drive unit. | ||
The drive unit consists of the drive shaft, multiplate clutch K2, front planet carrier, inner plate carrier, multiplate clutch K1 and multidisk brakeB3. | |||
5 | Remove bolts (2) . | Bolt, oil pump with multi-disk brake B1 to torque converter housing | |
6 | Remove oil pump (3). | | |
Removal: Mark installation position of oil pump (3). | |||
For this, screw two opposing screws (2) into the housing (3.2) and loosen the oil pump (3) using a suitable tool. | |||
Installation: Replace sealing ring (3.3). Observe marked installation position of oil pump (3). The chamfer (arrow) of the impeller (3.1) must face toward the housing (3.2). | |||
If the oil pump (3) is reused. | |||

Replace radial shaft sealing ring of oil pump (3). | |||
Remove/install oil pump radial shaft sealing ring | |||
If oil pump (3) is replaced. | |||

Install radial shaft sealing ring of parts kit in oil pump (3). | |||
Remove/install oil pump radial shaft sealing ring | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order |
