1 | Remove paneling at top for dashboard on the passenger side | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connectors from power-assisted gear shifting (A52) control unit | ||
3 | Remove power-assisted gear shifting (A52) control unit | To do this, press the power-assisted gear shifting (A52) control unit into the rear bracket and unhook upwards out of the front bracket. | |

4 | Install power-assisted gear shifting (A52) control unit | ||
5 | Connect electrical connectors to the power-assisted gear shifting (A52) control unit | ||
6 | Install paneling at top for dashboard on the passenger side | ||
7 | Connect Star Diagnosis | ||
8 | Switch on ignition | ||
9 | Start Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS) | ||
10 | Select "Truck division" | ||
11 | Select "Automatic access using model series" | ||
12 | Select "HPS [hydraulic-pneumatic power shift] control unit" | ||
13 | Select "Parameterization" | Parameterization is carried out automatically. | |
14 | Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis | ||
15 | Switch off ignition | ||
16 | Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS |
