Disassemble

Remove outer shift housing (6)

Drill out core hole cover (1) and remove

Unlock and unscrew nut (2)

Remove washer (3) and washer (4)

Pull shift shaft (11) out of outer shift housing (6) and remove washer (7) and selector finger (8)

Remove bush (9) and radial shaft seal (10)

 Use a suitable drift.

Remove socket (5)

 Use a suitable drift.

Remove Woodruff key (12) from shift shaft (11)



Assemble

Install bush (5) flush in outer shift housing (6)



Install bush (9) and radial shaft seal (10) in outer shift housing (6)

 Pack the space behind the radial shaft sealing ring (10) with long-life grease.

Insert Woodruff key (12) into shift shaft (11) and check for tight seating

Install selector finger (8) with washer (7)

 Observe correct installation position.

Insert shift shaft (11) into outer shift housing (6) through the selector finger (8) and washer (7)

Coat bushing (5, 9) with long-life grease.

Ensure that the Woodruff key (12) is firmly seated.

Insert washer (3 and 4)

The thin washer must face towards the bush (5).

Screw in and caulk new nut (2)



Install new core hole cover (1)

 Coat core hole cover with thread locking compound.
