1 Slacken jam nuts (5) at gate support (2) by a few turns.
2 Slacken jam nuts (4) at longitudinal support at control valve (3) by a few turns.
3 Turn adjusting rod (6) of gate support (2) until gearshift lever is positioned free of tension at probe of adjusting device.
To test, lift the probe and release. The probe must align with the center of the upper centering hole in the shift lever. Do not bend the probe.
4 Tighten jam nuts (4) on both sides of longitudinal support at control valve (3) .
5 Recheck adjustment of gate support (2).
6 Tighten jam nuts (5) .
