Remove retaining ring (1)

 Installation: The circlip (1) must be installed so that cam plate (2) is prestressed by the curvature of circlip (1).

Pull off cam plate (2)

 Installation: Grease cam plate (2) with long-life grease.

Observe installation position of cam plate (2), the large diameter must point towards the circlip (1).

Disconnect electrical connectors (4) on gear shift cylinder

Detach compressed-air line (5)

Detach shift housing with gear shift cylinder (6)

 Installation: Coat sealing surfaces with sealing compound.

Check needle roller bearing in front section transmission housing for wear and damage

 If necessary replace needle bearing.
