3 | Remove trim on center console | ||
4 | Remove screws (6) and remove selector lever with bearing bracket (5) downwards out of guide | ||
5 | Use suitable tool to unclip shift cable ball socket (2) from ball head on selector lever with bearing bracket (5) | ||

6 | Insert adjustment tool (3) into shift cable | ||

7 | Clip shift cable ball socket (2) into ball head on selector lever with bearing bracket (5) | Grease ball head and shift cable ball socket (2). | |

8 | Insert selector lever with bearing bracket (5) from below into guide and tighten screws (6) | Apply thread locking compound to thread of screws (6). | |
