	Remove
1	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-S-1105E
2	Use suitable tool to detach ball sockets (2) of shift cables (1) from ball heads on transmission
3	Remove shift cables (1) from bracket (3)
4.1	Remove panel at bottom for center instrument panel	Model 447.6/7

4.2	Remove cover on center part of dashboard	Model 447.8

5.2	Remove paneling from vertical strut	MODEL 447.6/7 except CODE FF1 (Center console with stowage compartment) except CODE FF2 (Center console with 1-DIN slot) except CODE FG0 (Luxury center console with roller blind)

6	Remove bracket (4)	 To do this, unscrew nuts (5).
7	Remove hose (7)
8	Use suitable tool to detach ball sockets (6) of shift cables (1) from ball heads on gearshift lever (8)
9	Detach shift cables (1) from bearing bracket (9)
10	Remove shift cables (1)	 To do so, detach the rubber grommet (10) and remove the shift cables (1) upwards.
	Install
11	Install shift cables (1) with rubber grommet (10)	 Make sure that the rubber grommet (10) is seated correctly.
12	Install hose (7)	 Check for correct seating.
13	Attach shift cables (1) to bearing bracket (9)
14	Attach ball sockets (6) of shift cables (1) to gearshift lever (8)
15	Install shift cables (1) onto bracket (3)
16	Attach ball sockets (2) of shift cables (1) to transmission
17	Adjust shift cables (1)		AR26.60-S-6633E
18	Install bracket (4)	 Nut, bracket to cross member	*BA68.10-N-1002-02B
