Detach ball sockets (2) from shift gate (1).

 To do this, pry each ball socket (2) off corresponding ball head evenly, without tilting, on opposite sides using a suitable tool.
Otherwise damage may occur.

Detach shift cables (3) from shift gate (1).

 To do this, press in locks (4) and remove shift cables (3).

Attach shift cables (3) to shift gate (1).

 To do this, insert housings of locks (4) accurately until the locks (4) engage.

Attach ball sockets (2) to shift gate (1).
