2 | Remove bolt (4) from pressure relief valve | The bolt (4) is under pressure. | |

3 | Remove the components of the pressure relief valve from the bore one after another | The pressure relief valve includes a spring (3) and valve element (2). The Mark the installation position of the valve element (2). | |
Installation: Check the valve element (2) in the bore for proper seating by turning. | |||
4 | Remove outer oil pump housing (5) from rear transmission housing | Installation: Ensure correct installation position of outer oil pump housing (5). | |
5 | Remove ring gear (7) and impeller (8) in succession | Installation: The markings (arrows) on the ring gear (7) and impeller (8) must point towards the outer oil pump housing (5). Lubricate ring gear (7) and impeller (8). | |
6 | Remove inner oil pump housing (9) from rear transmission housing | ||
7 | Remove shim (10) and cylindrical pin (6) from rear transmission housing | Installation: Determine the thickness of the shim (10) for the oil pump when replacing the oil pump or the rear transmission housing: | |
