Remove

Unscrew screw/bolt (4)

 The screw/bolt (4) is spring-loaded.

Remove spring (3) and valve element (2)

 Observe and mark installation position of valve element (2).



Clean

Clean all parts



Check

4

Check all components for wear and condition

If there are problems



Replace affected component.



Install

Install valve element (2) and spring (3)

 Observe installation position of valve element (2).

Twist the valve element (2) in the bore to check for proper seating

7

Tighten screw/bolt (4)

 Bolt, pressure relief valve to transmission housing
