6 | Remove countershaft gear (6). | Use workshop press. | |
7 | Remove countershaft twin gear (4). | Use workshop press. | |

8 | Heat countershaft twin gear (4) to approx. 120 °C and slide on. | Readjust countershaft twin gear (4) with zero axial clearance immediately after sliding on using workshop press. | |
9 | Heat countershaft gear (6) to approx. 120 °C and slide on. | Readjust countershaft gear (6) with zero axial clearance immediately after sliding on using workshop press. | |
10 | Install retaining ring (5). | ||
11 | Heat tapered roller bearing (7) to approx. 120 °C and install. | ||
12 | Heat pulse wheel (2) to approx. 120 °C and install. | ||
13 | Heat tapered roller bearing (1) to approx. 120 °C and install. | ||
14 | Coat tapered roller bearings (1, 7) with clean transmission oil. | ||
15 | Install countershaft (3). |
