Remove

Remove main shaft and countershaft

with transmission 711.612/613

with transmission 711.620/621

AR26.50-D-2001D



Disassembling

Remove circlip(8)

3

Pull off tapered roller bearings (1) and (7)

 Clamping pliers

 Puller

Press off 5th gear gearwheel (6).

Turn around countershaft.

Remove circlip (2)

Press off constant mesh gearwheel (3).

Press off 3rd gear gearwheel (4).



Assembling

Danger!

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and, if necessary, eye protection.

Heat 3rd gear gearwheel (4) to approx. 180 °C - 200 °C and press onto countershaft (5).

After cooling, press 3rd gear gearwheel (4) home using a suitable drift.

Heat constant mesh gearwheel (3) to approx.
180 °C - 200 °C and push onto countershaft (5).

After cooling, press constant mesh gear wheel (3) home using a suitable drift

Install circlip (2)

Turn around countershaft.

Heat 5th gear gearwheel (6) to approx. 180 °C - 200 °C and press onto countershaft (5).

After cooling, press 5th gear gearwheel (6) home using a suitable drift.

Heat tapered roller bearings (1) and (7) to approx.
180 °C - 200 °C and push onto countershaft (5).

After cooling, press tapered roller bearings (1) and (7) home using a suitable drift

Install circlip (8).


