2 | Remove cylindrical roller bearings (7) and (2) | ||
3 | Remove locking ring (8) | ||
4 | Press off 5th gear wheel (6) | ||
5 | Turn over countershaft | ||
6 | Remove locking ring (1) | ||
7 | Press off constant-mesh gear wheel (3) | ||
8 | Press off 3rd gear wheel (4) | ||
| Assembling | ||
9 | Heat up 3rd gear wheel (4) to approx. 180°C - 200°C and push onto countershaft (5) | ||
10 | After it has cooled down, continue pressing 3rd gear wheel (4) using a suitable drift punch | ||
11 | Heat up constant-mesh gear wheel (3) to approx. 180°C - 200°C and push onto countershaft (5) | ||
12 | After it has cooled down, continue pressing constant-mesh gear wheel (3) using a suitable drift punch | ||
13 | Install locking ring | ||
14 | Turn over countershaft | ||
15 | Heat up 5th gear wheel (6) to approx. 180°C - 200°C and push onto countershaft (5) | ||
16 | After it has cooled down, continue pressing 5th gear wheel (6) using a suitable drift punch | ||
17 | Install locking ring (8) | ||
18 | Push on cylindrical roller bearings (7) and (2) | ||

19 | Install main shaft and countershaft | With transmission 711.603 | |
